2010 is the year of the ruhr area - the European Capital of Culture. One year of culture at its best right in our backyard - with 4-Acoustic right in the middle. From June 2nd to June 6th one of the probably most exciting projects took place in Unna-Koenigsborn - the X-Circus-Ruhr.
In this joint project street artists meet circus professionals - together they perform Shakespeare's "Storm" in impressive pictures. BMX riders, skaters, inliners, breakdancers and circus artists completely abdicate the powerfully eloquent language of Shakespeare and requicken this story with their skilful artistic - fill it with emotions and cast a spell over the audience.
4-Acoustic was responsible for the brilliant sound for the show. Altogether 18 line-array modules of LA-800 (nine passive and nine active), as well as six FCS-218BP G2 double 18" bandpasses and 4-Acoustic amplifiers were taken to sound the tent.
The X-Circus-Ruhr made itself to be the best chance to experience an outstanding live circus performance and to get an excellent impression of the brilliant 4-Acoustic sound. Especially the samples of thunder were enormous. But also the clear and brilliant sound during the music clips caused a stir in the audience. "I could not believe that 4-Acoustic products sound this brilliant" - this was one of many positive opinions after the show.
Detlef Risse, 4-Acoustic, said: "We like to use such events to support cultural activities which are mostly not in much funds. This causes a win/win situation. The organizers get a brilliant sound which is calibrated by our technicians and we are able to present our products under several service conditions." Using this way many contacts could have already been made. It is also a possibility to support and promote such events and to set exclamation marks for events which otherwise could only be staged with compromises.
